I got great bang for my buck at Oomori Souko! The room was cozy and comfortable with top-notch bedding. The location was convenient, especially since it was close to the airport. The staff, especially Kato, treated me like family and went out of their way to make sure I had a fantastic stay.
Breakfast items could be more varied.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful and welcoming guesthouse. the owner of Oomori Souko was incredibly friendly and gave us fantastic suggestions for places to visit and things to do in the area. the beds were comfortable and we especially enjoyed the convenience of having a public bath nearby. the guesthouse itself was artistically decorated with a lot of unique and homemade touches, which added to its charm. We loved the cozy lounge on the second level and appreciated the good selection of books available. the staff even accommodated a late check-in for our friend, who arrived in the early hours of the morning. this was one of the best hostels we've stayed in and we highly recommend it. Cons: Nothing not to like! 👍.

I recently stayed at Oomori Souko for four nights and had a fantastic experience. The owner, Katou, was incredibly kind and always had interesting stories to share. The hostel's interior, which Katou built himself, was both stylish and practical. The cleanliness of the entire house was exceptional, and the rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all spotless. The location was convenient, with a 7-Eleven and plenty of vending machines nearby.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had an exceptional stay at a cosy and comfortable hostel. The owner, Kato, was the best host ever, making us feel like family. The beds were soft and comfy, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Kato even drove us to a local festival in his mini! The location, though a bit far from train stations, was still convenient for Haneda airport and exploring Tokyo. We can't wait to return one day. I highly recommend this hostel.

The second floor balcony with a hammock is a hidden oasis amidst the bustling city. It felt like lounging on a cloud, providing the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the Tokyo vibes.
Far from tourist areas.

Conveniently located within walking distance of two train stations and a bus stop. Close proximity to a 7-11 combini and a post office for ATM services. A public bathhouse is conveniently located next to the 7-11.

The location of the hostel was not very central, but it was conveniently close to Haneda airport. It was also surrounded by many restaurants and convenience stores, making it easy to grab a quick meal or snack. A particular highlight of the hostel was the spacious beds, with comfortable mattresses and warm blankets. the common area had a cozy and home-like atmosphere, perfect for socializing with other guests.
The downside of the hostel was that it was located quite far from public transportation. Getting to the nearest bus stop from the train station took about an hour, and the steep stairs in the hostel were a challenge, especially when carrying luggage.
